Are you a contractor looking for an insurance quote in Springfield MO? We may be able to help with:
Contracting Risks generally fall into one of two categories, Artisan Contractors or General Contractors.
Artisan Contractors typically stick to a specific trade, like plumbing or electrical work, and retain their eligibility for insurance programs designed for artisan contractors, as long as they don’t subcontract more than 25% to 40% of their work to someone else.
General Contractors control the project. They may or may not have a crew performing specific trades, and rely primarily on subcontractors to complete a project. General Contractors may subcontract up to 100% of a project to other artisan contractors and act as a “paper contractor” providing project management and supervisory skills to the project.
We offer insurance programs for both Artisan Contractors and General Contractors.
We have preferred General Liability programs designed to meet the needs of small and mid-sized trade contractors. Our technology platform allows us to quote, issue and bind coverage quickly, and installment billing is usually always available. Prior coverage is preferred, but new ventures with experience in the trade are acceptable. Minimum General Liability premiums start at $500. We’re most competitive in the following trade classifications:
We offer insurance programs for General Contractors doing residential and commercial work, including risks that jump back and forth between the two. General Contractors with up to 100% subcontracted work are acceptable. Remodeling contractors who make structural additions to existing structures are acceptable as well. Minimum General Liability premiums for the General Contractor program start at $1,250.
